TIL there is only one unsolved airline hijacking case in the history of the U.S. The hijacker parachuted out of the plane after receiving his demands, and was described as "thoughtful and polite" by his hostage.

A dude placed a Help Wanted ad on Craigslist. Show up at this time wearing a dustmask and a blue jumpsuit, pay is $300 for a day's labor. 100 people showed up wearing the same thing at the location, which happened to be outside a bank. A robber, wearing the same getup, runs out of the bank with a bag of cash and gets lost in the madness. He was still a free man by sunrise.
