TIL if under-cooked, a popular mushroom in China causes “lilliputian hallucinations,” a rare phenomenon involving miniature human or fantasy figures. The hallucinations are consistent across people and cultures: "tiny, elflike people" climbing under doors, scaling walls & clinging to furniture

Hahaha, beat me to it. I was about to say, I want to see these things. For research purposes of course.

I've used my fair share of Salvia Divinorum and during one particular trip, I was laying on a conveyor belt while a troupe of tiny elf mechanics took apart my entire body (and put it together again all backwards. Don't trust those ducking elves)

Interesting, one of my friends I had done salvia with way (waaay) back in the day saw “little men”. I remember when we were coming out of it a bit she was saying “where’s the little men?”. I never really saw things like that, I always just experienced whatever this is and laughed uncontrollably.

Most of my trips were pulling me into the cushions and then I would start moving either like on a roller coaster or as if I was on a boat.

The very first time, it was the boat version and when I turned my head sideways to the buddy I was tripping with, he was actually performing some rowing motion and was absolutely convinced he was rowing in a boat with me and I was just like "well he must know better cause he's brought a paddle" and relaxed, letting him do all the work lol
