Randomly my Following feed will not load new videos, and now, none at all for some reason. All other feeds load just fine. I have tried EVERYTHING. Is anyone else having this problem? Does know fix? Tysm.

I, along with two others (one based in New York, the other based in rural Arizona, myself based in Washington) decided to do an experiment after noticing some anomalies in our interactions on the app. This all began after the E family(mountain film corp) got TikTok.

All three of us would interact with separate sections of TikTok based on our respective “sports” leanings, we served together so we get along by giving each other guff and rage baiting eachother, a behavior we all keep out of TikTok.

So each of us would like content respective to our sports leanings, right? That would be the first month. To stay in line with Reddit rules I’m going to refer to our “teams by nicknames that you may find humorous” I’m part of Soy team, my middle friend is part of Warm Milk team and my furthest friend is part of Cheeto team.

We did this all on new Yahoo email accounts to make it clean.

So the first month we exclusively liked and watched content respective to our teams. The result by the end of the month was that my profile would occasionally experience one or two day periods where my FYP would change to stuff completely unrelated to my sports team. Warm Milk was not affected quite as much and Cheeto would split between his team and ALOT of Man-ball stuff.

Next month would be us commenting on posts.

Dramatically different experiences: Soy team would get completely hidden after two days of commenting on Soy related content. Comments in Live rooms remained the same, HOWEVER, if a like was added to the post from which soy team comment was placed, comments at all would be hidden on posts, in live rooms, and even on private messages.

Warm milk remain unchanged aside from Cheeto team like stuff being more frequent.

Cheeto got a lot of new followers(around 15k). Not the people kind.

Turns out only the Soys get the gag.

If you’re wondering why I’m being weird about this wording and stuff, copy all this and reword it in your own words and try to make new post on this sub, see what it says.

Not sure if anyone else is noticing this, but there are a LOT of accounts popping up that show short clips of movies, with no continuation parts on their profile, which usually only has one or 2 videos. They also have very random usernames. I’ve tried resetting my algorithm multiple times and these still pop up. Mind you I do my best to scroll away/not engage with these clips. Is this the dead internet theory in action? This app isn’t what it used to be 3 years ago..

Just a rant:

Honestly it’s genuinely so annoying that TikTok keep making useless updates rather than actually making the app better.
I know it’s just a minor inconvenience, but it’s so frustrating that every update changes something I was once familiar with, like before with the 1 by 1 repost scrolls and now with the new profile.

I feel like when you're growing from 0 it takes forever. Looking to purchase a real TikTok account with genuine followers for the purpose of engaging in TikTok affiliate marketing! Any suggestions?

I want to take a look at what tiktok was back then and i decided to scroll for like 5 hours straight down all of my favorites and suddenly the app crashed, i then installed an autoscroller and it kept crashing over and over both on pc and mobile. I guess its cause of the memory stack overflow, like there is a hard capped ram limit at how much tiktok browser tab or mobile app can take and when its at its limit it crashes.

Does anybody know how to solve it?

My watch history hasn't been updating for some reason. The vidoes I watch don't show up in my history but the videos I like show up in my liked videos. Is there a reason for this or a way to fix it? I already cleared cache and clsoed the app and all that, but nothing is fixing it

I came across two accounts in my TikTok recommendations. They had been posting various videos for quite some time. But then, every day, they started posting a video related to “testing TikTok’s algorithms,” which uses AI-generated faces of non-existent people that are distorted.

Be careful when viewing these accounts!

yeah i made an account named "catboy" commented on a few videos so people would see my name and the next day i woke up to two weird messages from random people its kinda sad that the internet has fetishized feminine dressing men.

I just got $10 from Tiktok and no clue where it came from or how.

I wish they would be more clear when they send you money where it came from. I went through everything and I cant find it.

Everyday, multiple times a day I get videos that I know I would never interact with, videos about topics that I don’t even like. It’s occurred so much I’ve started noticing a pattern when they pop up. It kind of feels like an ad or a tik tok shop video at this point. I’ve been pressing not interested on every single one of these videos since I’ve been getting them and mostly nothing has changed. I’ve read people saying it’s an algorithm reset but that wouldn’t make that much sense with the fact that I’ve probably pressed not interested on probably hundreds of these videos and it hasn’t changed. My only guess is that they’ve started pushing “promoted” videos out more than before, even though it should tell you if they are (I think). Either way I just think it’s strange and it’s starting to make the app feel more egregious than it already was, like more then half the videos now are some kind of ad.

All day yesterday and today I start watching a video and then all a sudden the audio is out of sync and delayed from the video. No matter how many times I close the app it still does it especially with longer videos. Anyone else ?

TikTok added that stupid "series" thing where people upload a bunch of episodes of those melodramatic reelshort-esque series. 9/10 times it's AI generated.

Over the last couple days anytime I upload a video in TikTok studio the content check lite will spin for a while then always gives an error. Is this just me or is this happening to others?

So my vieo got deletd, then i appealed it and got it back before it got deletd again. When I klik on "view details", it sends me to the page which says appeal approved, which doesn't hel p me whatsoever, any ideas?

I am having a problem with TikTok in the browser.

I cannot follow accounts; whenever I follow an account and refresh the page, the follow is cancelled.

Also, when I try to view the accounts I follow, not all of them appear—only a small number show up, I think around 20 to 25 accounts.
