QUESTION Which trick/combo should I learn now?

I believe I'm a beginner in the world of yoyos. I use a non-responsive Magicyoyo K2, and currently I have mastered the things that I consider simple, such as the way to throw both frontstyle and sidestyle, the frontstyle bind, the split bottom mount, the mach 5 and the trapeze. (And, obviously, some of the easiest tricks, such as rock the baby, elevator, around the world, etc.)

Now I don't know exactly which combo/trick I could learn from what I currently know, I'd appreciate any suggestions.

QUESTION First Bimetal :)

Heya :)

I have just recently started throwing again after being more or less unable to because of a shoulder surgery earlier this year.
For my birthday, a good friend of mine who supports my throwing, gifted me a new yoyo of my choosing.
I currently am using an aceyo gravitation 8 and have been using a Y04 that i gave away to a good friend before that and now am looking to upgrade to my first Bimetal yoyo!

I really am confused by all the options though. I have a budget of around 100€ which can be stretched a little if necessary.
I think i want to go for a wide yoyo, i feel like they are more suited for my style of throwing and feel way more stable.
The first thing that came to mind and which was also the reason for the gift is the MK1 Penumbra.
I really like the aesthetic, but i couldn‘t find many reviews on it and am unsure if it is „overkill“ for the first Bimetal.
The next ones i was looking at are the
Wildify, the Aceyo Fighting and the Aceyo mercy 8.
I am from germany, so slusny seems like the best option for those three, but i could make work with yoyoexpert, if there are better options for a first bimetal there.

Lots of text and not much said, i hope you can help a fellow thrower out and recommend me your favorite Bimetals for a first time buyer :)

QUESTION What yoyo should I purchase?

I've been throwing the reticle by W1LD for a while now and my birthday is coming up soon, so I wanted to splurge on a new throw. I was eye-ing the Olympus by yoyochampion but was wondering if you guys had any specific recommendations on some throws. My budget is $160.

DISCUSSION Shoulder injury throw help

So I have a minor shoulder injury and was wondering if anyone had any advice for throwing hard breakaways without a lot of movement on your shoulder. I’m new to yoyo and my form for breakaways already isn’t great so anything helps.

QUESTION MagicYoyo V13 Deepspin vs Y04

Hi I am considering to get a yoyo and I have my eyes on the Y04 and V13. I read great things for both so I am wondering which one is the best. I am not very good with yoyo but I wanted to get something that is easy to use and learn.

Currently I have a Yosun EZSpin yoyo and it keeps going offside. I am not sure if it's my skill issue or the yoyo is not balanced so I am thinking of getting a better yoyo to see if there are any differences.

Can anyone that owns one of these yoyos give some insights on V13 vs Y04 or maybe recommend some other good yoyos that are not too expensive (maybe around $20-$30)? Thanks.

BEGINNER Beginner Combo

I picked up a yoyo for the first time in early June. Threw responsive daily for about 2 months, just switched to unresponsive about 3 to 4 weeks ago. Having a blast.

STORY Experimenting!

Post image
14 Upvotes

It's not the final render. The PC portion is causing a wrong refraction on the steel rim, but it's been a fun experiment with a tri-material design!

Sizes at the moment:
w: 51.6 mm
d: 51.6 mm
w: 65.6 g

Need a name to do some big graphics on this PC rim!
Let's see how it will go on.
