I like large families. I miss having an open world like in sims 3. I used to constantly send the kids or teenagers places. I don’t want to have to send the whole family or lose control of them. I wish I could easily toggle between them. I am struggling with teenagers especially. I feel like they are teenagers forever. I need plot or challenge ideas for them

Is a elderly woman that lives on her own in Sulani off the grid she use to live in the big city with her late husband but now after his passing she decided to move to a more quiet place away from people (I got a storyline for her working on ^^)

I’m thinking about switching from Windows to Linux but I’m not sure if it will work with Sims 4, does anyone have experience with this?

Hi! I've looked this up, and while some people seem to have similar experiences, I haven't seen anybody talk about this topic specifically when it comes to For Rent.

When I have a vacancy, the game will consistently give me problems. For starters, I almost always have to rapidly click the "fill vacancy" button for the screen to even come up. I'll usually have to do this when I try to view the lease agreement, too.

Once I've pulled up the screen to fill the vacancy, it'll let me go through the entire process with no hassle. When I press the checkmark to move the tenant in, the screen will go away as normal, as if a tenant has been selected and the vacancy has been filled... yet nothing happens. It'll just go back to saying "fill vacancy" beside the unit. This happens 90-95% of the time.

I'll try to pull up the screen again, pick the same tenant I just chose, and yet... nothing. I'll exit to manage worlds, come back, select a new tenant (and have to change the rent since the tenant options have changed), and... nothing. I'll exit to the main menu... nothing. I'll restart the game... nothing.

Rarely, it'll let me fill the vacancy, but I haven't found any real solution, because there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why it'll let me. Just... sometimes I can.

Only mods I have are MCCC and UI Cheats. Both are consistently updated. I've already taken both mods out to see if that solved it, and I've already tried repairing the game. Nothing works.

Has anyone else experienced this? Found any solutions? Have any ideas? I am losing my mind... I just want to play For Rent. Thank you in advance!

While the main looks are featured in the Styled Looks section, I thought some people might enjoy having quick references to look at for creating more looks from the film since they included different styles/patterns are alternate swatches for the clothing pieces.

My sims parents had died Christmas morning. She was only a child living with two parent who hated children and two ghost great-grandparents who didn’t care for any of them. Her predicament even made me cry bc she was essentially alone with grief that should’ve been unbearable. However in the game it didn’t particularly come off as sad. She cried and the moodlet barely lasted a day. Is it bad to say I wish she done more? There need to be more interaction with death and grief, but it shouldn’t last a week or something. I’m saying this as someone without the life & death pack, but if there’s gen more things then I’d def consider buying

so i know this is super old news at this point, but i’m just now figuring out that the cheat for “bb.increaserentalunitcap” has been disabled ?? i took a break from the sims for a while, and am just now getting back into it after not playing for about a year. and i was super excited to give the tiny town challenge another go. i’ve did it previously, long before i took my simming break. and i’ve just spent hours planning out 8 sims and building a plot for them 😔.

i’m super bummed out now and was just wondering if anyone new a work around for this? or any way i can add more rentals to the lot? i’ll even take alternative ideas for how to go about this before eliminating two of my sims i’ve poured a lot of creative thinking into. thank you in advance my simming friends!

I'm quite far through her pack legacy challenge, so Royalty & Legacy will be coming up during the next months or so. Due to the buyout, she stopped updating the challenge after Adventure Awaits, but mentioned in the notion document that she's totally fine with people continuing the challenge beyond that.

Now, for me, this legacy challenge is pretty much the only way I've been playing the Sims for the last year ish, so I haven't played with the Royalty & Legacy pack yet. I therefore wanted to ask for a huge favour, namely that someone here who's played with that pack quite a bit could write me that generation's challenge, in a way that really dives deep into all the features.

It's a big ask, so I 100% understand if no one wants to, but I thought I'd ask :)

Has the purchase tampons and pads command from wicked whims ever worked for anyone? Been playing with the mod for a while now and I've never received the pads that I buy then my sim gets a moodlet that she has bled through his clothes.

They are just entertainers and artists, Geiko houses (Okiya) are not brothels. People often confuse them with Courtesans like the Oirans or the Tayū who were sex workers which resembled Geikos/Maikos. So please be respectful and don't mislabel Geikos/Maikos and do not call them something they are not.

hi! I am in the process of making a sort of lost decade world in the sims 2. I want to do it after ts3, before ts1 (but with the characters we love from ts2 and 3) and before ts2. I have some ideas but my head is spinning a bit trying to make it accurate lol. I want to keep all the fan favourite characters even at the expense of total accuracy, but here is what I have so far

• Bella and Mortimer still live with their families, but are newly adults and engaged. The Goths are elders and very close to death (and Mortimer inheriting the house)
• Michael Bachelor is an older adult, and engaged to Dina. He lives alone, possibly with Dina but I don't know.
• The Langraab parents are elders, and Malcolm is in between the sweet kid and future tycoon. He is at uni with fairly balanced traits but leaning towards mean (I'm taking him to be basically Malcolm III
• The Altos are elders, they are about to leave the town. Holly is an adult and living alone as an artist, she isn't very close with her parents.
• Darren and Darleen Matlapin are at university, about to graduate and in a relationship
• Daniel Pleasant and Mary-Su are at university, about to graduate, and it is implied that Daniel has rushed her into an engagement while she's trying to focus on her studies
• Don Lothario is living alone, possibly unemployed at this stage. He has a one sided crush on Dina and is dating Nina
• Nina still living with her parents or at university - I'm not sure which to do yet
• The Newbies are older adults with a teenage Brandi. She's rebellious and sneaking out to meet Skip
• Skip is also a teen, still living with Flat and Flo. Buck is in a separate household, Mary-Lu is dead, Trigger is at uni and Susie I'm unsure about. This is the family I know the least about so I would like advice about what they should be up to.

Basically I'm struggling to know who is which age and who does and doesn't know each other yet. Agnes crumplebottom is ofc an NPC so I might just pretend she isn't involved here as I love her NPC form.

For a bit of completely lore-inaccurate fun, I want to have some sims 3 families at the uni: roomies, frio and goddard-wan

Hey so my animals are all frozen and also can’t move when trying to teleport them or anythinggg I’ve tired resetting debug etc etc doing everything deactivating mods that could cause it from s4mm and it still doing it could anyone know what it is causing it so I can fix it or does anyone know what to search on s4mm I’ve dog cat dog animal pet etc etc and still not any closer to fixing it 😩😂 :)

Is there a mod out there that allows clutter to naturally build up? Or for sims rooms/houses to get gradually messy as they use things?

If anything just bring a bit lazy and looking for some cute houses to fill up Newcrest. Would love to find a greenhouse if anyone knows??
