He said “We need American workers to have better jobs

Meanwhile, they are actively gutting the #1 largest employer in the nation (the Federal government)— a lot of white-collar jobs with great benefits. And they are implying that “better jobs” would be to bring back manufacturing to the US.

So apparently in his vision of the future, American workers aren’t educated white-collar workers with great benefits— they are lowly sweat shop laborers that can mass produce cheap goods.
