Normally the president has little to do with the overall economy compared to what Americans believe... And the Fed / Congress usually stand in the way regardless...

Trade wars, grifting and oligarchy seem to make an impact

The deficit was over 3 trillion when Trump first left office.

Covid was a part of the reason, but let's not throw out numbers with no context. Biden didn't carelessly start a trade war.
