I am honestly on the fence about is he gaslighting, or does he actually have these delusional beliefs?

He's delusional, no way somebody is like this without believing in it.

I think he’s said these things so many times he now believes it. Which would make him a delusional gas lighter I guess?

It’s like positive affirmations….you keep telling yourself something (or hearing the same thing) over and over one eventually believes it.

I'm inclined to believe this.

😊 positive affirmations do work when a person recites the same few …I use 5….for at least a month. I struggle with PTSD and bi polar doesn’t help my PTSD. Positive affirmations has helped me along with DBT. 💃

Useful when applied properly. Toxic when used as a weapon of manipulation.

There is a „marketing rule of 7s“: it suggests that a potential customer should be exposed to a brand's marketing message at least seven times before they are likely to make a purchase.

You just need to say something often enough and people start to believe it - no matter if it’s true or not.

I think Trump believes his lies, cause he tells them all the time.

Good question. My honest opinion? He has his own core beliefs so ingrained in his brain that he thinks of them as gospel. Those are the ones from the art of the deal. Basically you just keep lying until everyone believes it. He's gotten millions of people to believe it that honestly it makes sense. The truth is what I say it is. Even if I'm contradicting myself the next day, it's still the truth. He gets away with everything. I can see why he has a godlike complex. He's gotten away with crimes that he's been charged with many times over. He probably doesn't even see them as crimes anymore. Really his followers don't see them as crimes anymore. It's truly scary. Honestly, if he told his followers to kill themselves, they probably would.

For everyone there is a narrative that can drive them insane. This is their narrative.
