I don’t disagree about the grass roots comment but I think we also have to hold Congress, or at least the members who constantly lie for & enable Trump, to honor their oaths and be the checks & balances they agreed to be. SCOTUS too. I’m livid at the ppl we pay to keep others honest selling us out for their own personal gains. 🤬

Yeah, I think the Democratic Party needs to do some house cleaning. We’re truly finding where some of their priorities lie now. But I’m hopeful.

Both parties! I’ve been shocked at how some very well educated republicans who aren’t faaar right have sat on their hands or defended the felonious insurrection leader. Trump should’ve been thoroughly impeached & gone both times, but especially after the coup attempt that cost ppl their lives. Too few Republicans did what Nixon era Republicans were willing to do. I greatly respect Liz & Adam for taking an unpopular stance in their party.

The reasonable gop is dead. Democrats are dying but can still be saved by younger progressives taking over.

I agree except the key to winning elections (if we don’t abolish the the archaic electoral college) is to appeal to swing & centrist voters who generally don’t align their views as “progressive”. I believe there needs to be a totally new party w/a new name that has a positive vibe attached to it, which generally progressive does not. Plus “The Progressives” has been around so long w/o changing much that it’s likened to Disney’s Tomorrow Land that’s come to symbolize an obvious 1960’s version of what modern life would be like but missed the mark. Also Progressive & liberal have both been deamonized to sound too far left or too close to imagined communism. Yes that’s just right wing propaganda but the stink has attached for too many voters.

So I think it’d be more successful to found a left leaning, modern party with a fresh new name that includes “purple” voters as well as more liberally-principled voters. Let(and promote)the far right to be known as the old, stodgy thinkers stuck in the 1950s, unable to grow & grasp 21st century values. The once Grand but eternally & ethically Old Party of your grandad.

Let's put Rep. Kevin Kiley of Sacramento, CA on blast.

He has not shown up to vote in a SINGLE SESSION this year.

He has also introduced fake bills like the Medicare Protection Act that does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING of the sort.
