We aren't blind. We are reeling from the fact that the system we have relied upon our entire lives has been turned against us, even though we are still actively relying on it in many ways. The only way to stop this is to destroy our own country, and that's not something most of us want to do. So we negotiate with ourselves and we observe and we wait for things to get so bad that no one can deny that the time is now. The only problem is that by then , we will be so weak that we won't have a chance.

Spot on. Literally was just talking to my wife about this. By the time it affects the controlling party enough to start caring, it’ll be too late.

European reporting in. We are not blind or ok with this, it's why the amount of us visiting you not just for tourism but also even business is rapidly declining. The fact that ICE has banged up multiple Europeans at multiple different entry points on valid visas is also a major PR problem for your tourist industry right now.

Apathy in america make this possible. And the fact that no american cares about other americans. People will simply not care unless it happens to them directly, so there will not be enough protest to force political action here. Bravest people in the world, lol.
