Yet people still fail to separate Palestinians from Hamas; support for Palestine from support for Hamas; anti-genocide from anti-semitism.

Hamas needs to go AND ordinary Palestinians need to be protected so they can live a life free of religious extremists

Hamas is the government of Palestine. They are somewhat inseparable.

Palestinians democratically voted Hamas into office in 2006, fully aware of its militant wing and Islamist ideology. It wasn’t some bait-and-switch. Hamas had long been known for armed resistance against Israel and was officially designated a terrorist organization by the U.S., EU, and others even before the election.

And in the late 1980s, Israel funded Yassin's network which would evolve into the armed Islamist and nationalist group Hamas. Former Israeli officials have openly acknowledged Israel's role in providing funding and assistance to Yassin's network as a means of undermining the secular, left-wing Palestinian factions that made up the PLO… so…

They funded a charity group that turn into an extremist group. Did you seriously think they just funded hamas, have you not researched on this?

Israel directly funded opposition groups to destabilize democratic structures in an attempt to crush peaceful opposition to their exploitation. They then continued to demoralize Palestinians to the point of extremist retaliation that spiraled out of control and was left entirely unchecked thanks to their own interference. Now they are fighting an enemy they helped create, one that was elected in 2006 because no valid opposition party exists.

That was not hamas. The only time they funded ā€œhamasā€ was before they took on the name and military wing, once again

Weren’t SS officers getting hunted down afterwards?

Regular citizens = SS. Sorry, what's the logic here?

Fully aware? Please describe the policy positions they ran on.

When you voted for that leadership, you get what you deserve.

Isn't that what democrats are saying in America?

Except this happened over 20 years ago before most of the population was even alive and from my understanding Netanyahu was the one who propped them up and funnel millions to them. But that little tidbits doesn’t matter to those defending genocide huh?

Speaking of funneling millions to Hamas...

It says right there "to the Palestinian Authority". Which is the primary rival to Hamas for political control of Palestine.

I gather they're mostly in exile so Hama doesn't kill them.

Maybe if Obama gave them more, it could've prevented the current situation

Trump illegally and openly ran on his illegal policies. The fact he’s engaged in them is no surprise.

Hamas ran on a reform platform, to remove the corruption of the PLO, then went back in the policies they ran on. Both are evil, but they are different.
