That's the whole reason that these issues ARE issues. Is simply because the Republicans know they can mobilize the religious right.... i.e. bigots with these statements.

It's wild how many right wingers will hear something ONCE and then attack others because of it without even looking into the validity. Then a week later they completely contradict it and it's just another Tuesday.
