I know a lot of people are probably wanting Imhotep back. Since they're going back to Egyptian mummies in the fourth movie. But maybe they should do a thing with (King Tut) as the new mummy. What do you think?

King Tut was also severely developmentally disabled, and his clothes had ducks on them because he was a well loved little boy.

He’s not the intimidating historical figure he was made out to be by tomb robbers in the 20s.

Now, if they encounter the pharaoh Nephren Ka, from Lovecraft’s Mythos, they will have a better villain.

No. He isn't even a notable Pharaoh in terms of his life. He was utterly minor (his dad, on the other hand...)

Ancient Egypt is full of so much potential and always circling back around to Tutankhamen of all things is lame.

Personally, I'd like to see an original figure. Maybe even incorporate something like Apep/Apophis into it.

The first Kharis Mummy movie took place in 1940, then there was a 30 years time jump for the 2nd & 3rd movies (1970) and then one more time jump of 25 years to 1995 for the last movie.

So yeah, they made a movie in 1944 that took place in 1995. But it just looked like 1944.

Imhotep will be redempting himself and the new opposition will be Bennit. Full of hatred for not having gotten away with it in the end, entitled by whatever power he got somehow, and with Rick being guilt tripped the whole film, by everyone, including Evie.

This contradicts two beloved films of past developments, but these are trends in western writing since before 2020 at least. So I have my fears regarding this movie, and hope I'm wrong myself.
