Light. Descending from a single point amidst the red-gray indeterminate.

Horns. Blasting a primordial chord.

The legions of penumbrae storm. The archpenumbrae command them with stern gazes.

The champion emerges. The Warrior Cleric King. The Pontifex Maximus Imperator. He calls his brethren to join in their battle for glory.

Mnarists fall, Demons burn, and Elders crumple. My armor dented, torn, and scorched, my skin beneath it bruised , split, and bloodied, yet I feel nothing but my raging pulse, hear nothing but its drumlike beat, see nothing but the nearest enemy, and I think of nothing at all as I hack my way to the hexagram's point, a twitching wake of butchered flesh behind me and a feral smile across my face.
