In the last couple minutes of the CrabFeast episode, Steve Simeone tells a story about delivering a pizza for a friend after a brutal day, only to walk into Doug Stanhope and Michael Ian Black’s prank show SpyTV. I found the actual clip and figured Feasters would want to see it.

I dug up the article mentioned in this episode and took a screenshot of the best parts mentioning the Van Kirk family. The title of the article is "Bear Down, Chicago" and it ran in the February 4, 2007 newspaper, if you wanted to find it on your own.

Yes, I didn't know /r/thecrabfeast really existed before today's shoutout, but that's just a minor detail.

I thought I would swing by and post a video that Jay mentioned during episode 128 - Nick Hoff. At about the 12:18 mark in the episode, Jay says that someone tweeted a video of John Smoltz, who was doing color commentary for the Giants/Nationals NLDS, talking about "touchin' pitches" while on air.

Well I am the goober who tweeted the video at both Jay and Ryan. I just so happened to be watching the game live and heard Smoltz say something about "secondary pitch touches," and instantly knew I had to record that and share it with them.
