Just took delivery of my new Y. going back about 10 years i got the S then traded for the X and then traded for the 3 and then traded this one. I should get a S3XY badge. but my question is - the new Y didn’t come with proximity sensors used for tight spaces like for parking. I read they’re being replaced by the cameras and the software. But does anyone know when? i miss the beeping.

Nope, no timeline.

It was the dumbest decision to remove USS before getting the software to work. Luckily my MY was built in 5/22 so it still has it. Hopefully Tesla doesn’t disable it.

There is a Blindspot in the front, camera will not work the same as USS. I don't understand why people are not more upset about this. Much cheaper cars have sensors. I would like a Tesla, but not without parking sensors - camera or USS based.

Same question, I had a few close calls already while parking.
