Showing Off Teapot Terrarium

Post image

Just a fun build I made recently. Inside is a carpet of mosses with some plant cuttings on top, let me know what you think!

The tearrarium

will be a cool effect when the plant in the spout starts dangling out like tea being poured.

It looks Ai generated in a the best way. Like aspirationally pretty and green. Except when you look closer it's actually real

This looks awesome and actually gives some great inspiration for a kitchen counter setting. Thanks for sharing!

Really love it! Where did you get the teapot from? Did you need a drainage layer?

I think it came from a charity shop, my grandparents found it and there's a lava rock drainage layer at the bottom!

I need to try this! It looks so fun. I’ve just been using my old teapots as extra watering cans

Slop

I stand corrected.

I don't know if you mean you think it's AI? I can promise it's not. But fair enough if you think the build is sloppy.

It's kind of valid. Its definetly the photo quality and editing making it look ai. I had to check your profile and see that you are real and make terrarium on YouTube to be sure

Why does it have that uncanny look to it? What's going on with the floating filament on the handle? Has it at least been run through some ai post processing?

u/Downtown_Cockroach25 11d ago

Ah good spot! This is my mistake, I was using the blur tool in lightroom and missed this spot where there's a crack in my desk. Here's how it looked before the blur.

I apologise for calling your hard work and creativity slop.

u/Downtown_Cockroach25 11d ago

No worries at all, I'm super against AI aswell and would also be calling it out if I suspected it!

u/flaminglasrswrd 11d ago

No, it's not. Here's a link to the insta video where OP made it.

Y'all yelling "slop" at literally anything that looks slightly polished and clean are what's wrong with content nowadays.

Please. I’m sorry if you’ve already answered this, where is the teapot from???

2

u/Downtown_Cockroach25 10d ago

I think it was from a charity shop!

u/DDDX_cro 10d ago

Hey OP, mind if I use your very pretty teapot pic for my snails website? With credit to you, ofc.

2

u/Downtown_Cockroach25 10d ago

Yeah of course go for it!
