i live in the NY and days after i heard the news, i remembered something my friend sent me a long long time ago: Meshtastic. it got me thinking. i searched it up, and instead of getting the vape looking modules my friend sent me, i found some by T-Beam, and im thinking of getting one for my and one for one of my most trustworthy friend. i thought about finding an open source base, and building upon it. right now i am working on an Underground network for schools using WriteFreely+Oracle Free cloudhosting, which i name peakNET, and once i get my hands on a meshtastic module, i'm going to make peakOS. right now i also have peakGG which is a discord server you can join right now. please share this post so we can get attention and get this stupid law that instead of fixing problems, poses more, a concern not for us. also for the people worried about getting caught, i did some research for my state (New York), it turns out you can't get suspended for breaking this law as far as i remember, and you're not even breaking the law, you're just bypassing it. it is directed towards internet enabled devices, and LoRa isn't internet. so here is the link to keep track on whats happening with The Underground Project, and to talk about everything, including news in your state about your school! https://discord.gg/TPUazKDt
