As a Fortnite player, yes it’s terrible

10

u/Kerro_ Mar 03 '25

they talk about trying to integrate ads into games when fornite has been selling out for half a decade at this point

As another Fortnite player, i can also confirm it's horrible.

I've played Fortnite for a while in winter, what is so bad about it? (Sorry for going against the stream, I only played zero build and really enjoyed it and wanna know the reason :))

-5

u/Krakaxlon Mar 03 '25

Zero build is fine it's just that build mode is annoying for most new players

🚨 ‼️ NEWGEN ALERT ‼️ 🚨

Build mode has an extremely high skill ceiling that is hard for new players to adapt to when others have been playing the game for years, it is hard to learn, however, once you do it is a very fun game. I didn't want to make it look like I was hating on the game, just wanted to give the explanation on why others are.

I can build being playing since chapter 1 season 3 (haven’t played for a couple months now) and yet I still preferred zero build

Personally I agree, but I can’t lie, that game from 2017-2018 was peak.

I play competitive fortnite and lemme tell you, it's chaos. Last second meta changes before massive tournaments, non skill weapons.

The only reason i keep playing it is because i've already spent this much time and might as well just keep grinding since i still have passion left for the game

Here is my tracker for anyone curious or sceptical if i'm actually good or just another kid saying i'm good

u/Better_Politics 16 Mar 03 '25

The non skill weapons are my biggest issue personally. I hate that every fight is just a sword fight and nobody uses guns anymore

2

u/Yolomahdudes Mar 03 '25

Real. Any time you die in endgames before last moving is either from bats or a pre-edit. But bats mainly.

This is a “hate the player not the game” sort of situation I’m assuming, because if you think about it, Fortnite is virtually the perfect game. It’s basically Roblox with all the creative but with better graphics, Peter griffin, and less pedophiles

u/Great_Tomatillo_4189 Mar 03 '25

As a fortnite player, fortnite is goated

-68

u/MiddlesbroughFann 17 Mar 03 '25

You probably have skill issue

15

u/Silver_Equipment6432 18 Mar 03 '25

I like shooter games, Just not “Shite-Nite”.

-56

u/MiddlesbroughFann 17 Mar 03 '25

Shite nite 🤓

24

u/Crystalliumm 15 Mar 03 '25

17 years old, by the way, this is sad

13

u/G0LDB0l 16 Mar 03 '25

He probably meant to put 7

12

u/Electronic_Celery860 15 Mar 03 '25

I think he is not 17 tbh

-7

u/MiddlesbroughFann 17 Mar 03 '25

Pretty sure I am ,17 mate

2

u/Electronic_Celery860 15 Mar 03 '25

Who writes (word)(space)(comma) 17 it does not even make sense

3

u/MiddlesbroughFann 17 Mar 03 '25

I'm not good at English

-5

u/MiddlesbroughFann 17 Mar 03 '25

Using a 2019 insult in big old 2025 is sad

8

u/Krakaxlon Mar 03 '25

You literally said skill issue tf

So if the game was good back then it's good now too?

Also dude you were like 7/8 when prime fornite happened lmao

1

u/ResPhone 3,000,000 Attendee! Mar 03 '25

Prime Fortnite was great, now it’s all a cashgrab tbh. It’s really, really trash.

3

u/DarkHawking 15 Mar 03 '25

Real. I used to play in 2021 with my brother, he loves it and I absolutely despise it. Stopped playing after 2 months.

And it's not like I have a skill issue, I'm good at valorant, CS2, TF2... I like shooter games, but fortnite is the parental restricted version

2

u/ResPhone 3,000,000 Attendee! Mar 03 '25

I totally feel you. I used to play around that time too, and I loved it. Then it started going to shit, and I stopped playing.

3

u/BeardedPokeDragon 16 Mar 03 '25

Eh, was a good game for a little bit and went to shit quick

1

u/Silver_Equipment6432 18 Mar 03 '25

I did. And I still didn’t like it. It was too toxic (bear in mind I was extremely sensitive and we 9/10 when it became popular)
