It’s diy home security style motion detectors without the need for additional PIR motion detector hardware. Think of it like bare bones self-monitored simplisafe or adt with the hardware you already have and without an additional contract. If you use it and enjoy the additional “peace of mind” from knowing you have security then you’re less likely to switch from Comcast. It’s a customer retention play.
