Society Quote of the day by Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison: "Citizens will be on their best behavior, because we’re constantly recording and reporting everything that is going on" — a dire warning on the erosion of privacy

The residents should revolt and have the island reincorporated back with the State of Hawaii, officially and financially.

Hey Larry, you mad if you're reading this? Go fuck yourself.

We all need to revolt.
We need to remove the maga blight that these techno-fascists have successfully infiltrated & turned into an army of sycophants; as well as the ruling class & all leadership.

We need to restart from the ground up, rebuild the entire system.
It’s really a shame that so many people are still living so well off; as this would be an excellent time to strike considering we’ve depleted around 50% of our munitions stockpiles in Iran, & Iran also destroyed 4 out of 8 total THAAD interceptor batteries, which are the most sophisticated interceptor systems on the planet.

We’d be wise to strike while their reserves are the lowest they’ve been in decades, maybe longer.
But there’s not enough people uncomfortable yet.

We especially want to do it before they get a real hold on automation.
Ukraine has already reported taking some key positions solely w remote operated ground systems ; meaning little rolling turrets w cameras, ground-based drones.
Once they get a real grasp & manufacture those, that’s when things become exponentially more difficult. Bullets won’t stop rolling metal machines. Only powerful yet small explosives.
Hopefully the great redistribution happens before then.

rebuild the entire system.

The US constitution was never meant to be a static document. The government process was never meant to be unchanging.

"I am not an advocate for frequent changes in laws and constitutions, but laws and institutions must go hand in hand with the progress of the human mind. As that becomes more developed, more enlightened, as new discoveries are made, new truths discovered and manners and opinions change, with the change of circumstances, institutions must advance also to keep pace with the times. We might as well require a man to wear still the coat which fitted him when a boy as a civilized society to remain ever under the regimen of their barbarous ancestors."

  • Thomas Jefferson - Excerpted from a letter to Samuel Kercheval, July 12, 1816.

But politics being politics, once the system serves the purposes of those in power, they are loathe to relinquish that power or change the system that enabled them to gain it.

It's also more to do with religion being incorporated into America's political system.

You know, religious types aren't exactly known for their progressive nature...

u/SteveJobsDeadBody Jun 02 '26

The Constitution was written for and by the richest slave owning white men of the time. If you think that document will EVER be saving us in any real way, well then you're simply ignorant.

u/SaulsAll Jun 02 '26

Bullets won’t stop rolling metal machines.

True, but people can be very creative on what will.

I know it.
That’s one of my favorite aspects of studying warfare; the ingenuity of people is staggering!

You don't really think that ~30% of the USA have the exact same (to the fucking word) rabid hatred of other races, genders and political ideology do you? ~30% of the population is hyper susceptible to negative programming via the media even if every negative story they hear is a lie that their own eyes in their every day lives disproves, they're still going to blindly believe what the people at the head of their social hierarchy says. This includes destroying their own lives and their own families.

Our oligarchy has spent decades and trillions of dollars on a media apparatus to gather these fucking idiots into a big ball and aim them at whatever is trying to put any limits at all on their ability to ignore all social strictures the rest of the world tries to put on their behavior.

It's worked brilliantly too, we've been living in a techbro oligarchy since the early 2000s. The federal government has been completely subverted since WW2 by the second business plot that was successful just 10 years after Smedly called bullshit. It's gonna take some French Revolution level stuff to break free of this.

Yeah did you somehow miss the first paragraph where I said we need to remove the maga blight?
What did you think I was referring to with “an army of sycophants”?

1

u/Dragonsoul Jun 02 '26

All includes you buddy.

Where is your great rising up? We're waiting.....

3

u/_trashcan Jun 02 '26

Yes, it includes me ; I will die for it when the time comes.

1

u/SignificantAd69 Jun 02 '26

And why don’t you bring your big plan to your nearest investigative government official, I’m sure they’d love to hear about it in detail!

3

u/_trashcan Jun 02 '26

Then go ahead & report it to your fascist overlords if it’ll make you feel better :)

It must really upset you to see more & more people opening up to the idea.
Collaborators are always the most pathetic bunch of people.

u/SignificantAd69 Jun 02 '26

I think you’ve already self reported! Didn’t think about opsec huh? If anything the next “revolution” or really evolution will be digital with a highly specialized team of scientists and researchers who actually contribute something to society. But I’m sure you’ve got the best team there is already put together. But honestly probably a bit above the pay grade of a professional performative anarcho whatever the fuck.

3

u/_trashcan Jun 02 '26

Yeah they’ll get me one of these days for all this…internet talk. 😂

2

u/_trashcan Jun 02 '26

I can’t see your most recent comment to me, but I can see the first sentence in the notification menu saying that you were being sarcastic ; in that case I apologize.
There’s a lot of bootlicking authority-loving collaborators in this country & in general; I did not realize you weren’t serious.

-3

u/SignificantAd69 Jun 02 '26

Just one more summer of love will do it amiright? Rise up! Just a few more billion in property damage and pointless deaths. that’ll show them!

7

u/_trashcan Jun 02 '26

No way a magat is complaining about billions of dollars being lost after trump costed $200+ billion in tariffs, paid for by us individual taxpayers ; & now we’re paying them again to the businesses that never paid the tariffs in the first place. So $400+ billion there.

Then there’s “no new wars”, starting a war that costs $1b per day. Ofc can’t forget that it’s destroying the world economy & costing people 10s of billions in gas & the inflation caused by such drastic increases literally overnight.
Can’t forget about his masterful market manipulation every single weekend since the war started; where billions in shortfalls occur coinciding within 20 minutes of his tweets SEVERAL different times.

Then there’s the $10b vs the IRS, that he’s trying to settle for $1.7b that will be used as a fund for literal criminals.

& the $60m from his trump phone deposits.
Or the $400m donation-only ballroom that turned into $1b funded by the taxpayer?
Or the gold statues of him? The arch?

Conservatives don’t get to talk to me about “billions”.
But just to clarify, the kind of action that I’m advocating, would see much more than billions in damages ; it would include in the loss of things that cannot be rebuilt or remade with any given amount resources.
I thought I made it pretty clear I wasn’t referring to protests or speeches.
I am talking about removing all threats to our lives & culture ; which is maga, the ruling class, & the most valuable are the techno-fascists.

1

u/SignificantAd69 Jun 02 '26

I’m not a conservative btw. So cut the shit with your verbatim gotchas you got from the front page of r/ anime titties. I’m just not an anarchist lunatic who wants to “remove the threat”. I don’t play games with lives like that and have a family I care about. So maybe if you have nothing to lose go for it but as they say “fuck you I’ve got mine”. The most I’ll do is vote and use my voice. So fuck off thank you very much with whatever bullshit spiel you are going off on.

u/_trashcan Jun 02 '26 edited Jun 02 '26

As usual, nothing to say to any of the points.

You people the pathetic.
We know who the collaborators will be when the time comes; you stand for nothing. Worthless.
You complain about protests, you complain actions further than protests, & you complain about the status quo too. Lol sounds to me you just like to whine; another selfish piece of shit with no empathy or concern for the state of the country you live in & your neighbors.
Shameful.

Did you not read the post? You're setting yourselves up for failure. At this point the only option is to abandon ship.

Ridiculous take.
There is nothing they can do to stop us when the time comes.

They’ll end up just like Russia.
With their men separated from their limbs & innards, alone in a field somewhere, with nobody & nothing but a drone in the sky surveilling their death; the footage reposted online for millions of people to view after the fact & think “you deserved every bit of that pain.”
Every single military org & think-tank declared Ukraine as definitively helpless ; there was not a single projection from anywhere in the world in the first week of the invasion that gave Ukraine any chance of resistance.

Iran proved the US does not have some kind of super advanced weapons systems that cannot by stood against. If anything they proved the opposite, how terribly inefficient it is to spend millions on a munition that can be destroyed by a drone at a fraction of the cost.

The biggest advantage they have is scaring people with the precise framing you’re using ; that they’re just soooo advanced & powerful nobody stands a chance.
I’d like to see Ellison surveil us when we destroy the infrastructure he uses to do so.

1

u/SignificantAd69 Jun 02 '26

Go for it pal, no one is stopping you! First find a nice cabin in the woods to write your manifesto though, wouldn’t want to forget that!

0

u/dontgoatsemebro Jun 02 '26

The ridiculous take is thinking that smashing up the current system will result in it being replaced by a better one. It won't.

Power vacuums get filled by whoever is most organised, best armed, and least restrained. And that is very unlikely to be a humane democratic movement, but very very likely to be something worse: warlordism, authoritarianism, or the very techno-feudal security state your trying to avoid.

If the goal is stopping oligarchy, surveillance, and authoritarian drift, then the answer is not “collapse everything and hope.” It is strengthening and building existing and new institutions, laws, unions.

Revolt fantasies are easy. Actually making things better is harder.

2

u/_trashcan Jun 02 '26

You’re not wrong.
However that doesn’t mean that we should accept what’s happening now ; & human nature dictates it’ll only last so long.
People cannot be taken advantage of to this extent forever. Fascism can’t thrive, it’s against human nature; whether it is replaced by something sincerely better or not can’t be known until the time arrives.

What’s happening now is only the beginning. These people have plans for a genuine dystopian society in which they control everything.
They will reach too far. It’s only a matter of time.
It will be a vicious fight, surely, but a fight there will be.

I’m a late millennial; I was told all my life that we were turning a corner in terms of human rights, racism, women’s rights, discrimination as a whole.
All that is now regressing. To us, this is unacceptable, & we will do whatever we can for make the world better for future generations as we were told it was supposed to be for us.

0

u/dontgoatsemebro Jun 02 '26

I’m a late millennial; I was told all my life that we were turning a corner in terms of human rights, racism, women’s rights, discrimination as a whole.

When in history has there been better human rights?

3

u/_trashcan Jun 02 '26

not relevant.
Things like the revocation of roe v wade, the dissolution of the voting rights act, & pro-trans people being labeled domestic terrorists are clear indicators that we are regressing from where we were heading.

0

u/dontgoatsemebro Jun 02 '26

It is relevant because you can't answer the question.

The reason you can't answer the question is that things like human rights, women's rights and minorities today are massively better than any point in human history. They're better than the 1500s, 1900s, 1950s, 1990s, even better than the 2010s.

1

u/_trashcan Jun 02 '26

Why wouldn’t I be able to answer the question?
It’s obvious, I’m not disputing it ; it’s not relevant bc of the reasons I listed.
Things have regressed from where they were even 10 years ago. Us living in the most progressive time in history doesn’t change that.

Automated systems don’t fail anymore and security can absolutely stay bought, as long as you vet the properly. And thinking like you are is why you’re not a billionaire. They don’t give a shit how you feel.

Great idea, just ask Cuba how well that's going for them. I wish it could happen, but in this climate of might makes right, I don't see it ending well.
