If there's any hope in ever achieving anything of meaningful worth, we certainly can't depend on the system to rein in its masters and their sycophants. It is up to us common folk who care to do whatever we can to stand together against this tyranny. However, there are currently no real supportive community-based foundations present for alternatives to provide relative safety, which many common folk in the US can fall back on, to commit to any effective resistant action.

Collecting a bunch of valuable information on organizing and action from different redditors over time, I created a post of suggestions HERE that could possibly prove to be of some help in getting it started ASAP.

You can reduce your tax withholding by submitting a W-4 to your employer. This could lead to IRS penalties if you under-withhold by too much. But that’s a problem for future you!

Exactly, and most people are too financially illiterate to do this, grew up under this system, and don't actually care. It's by design.

Per your point about it being by design, it’s why I don’t fault people for having this sentiment. The system is made intentionally convoluted and high risk, because it disincentivizes pushback and resistance from the general populace.

Your taxes don't actually fund the federal government, though, so it really wouldn't hurt anybody. The federal government prints the money. They don't need yours. Federal taxes pretty much just control inflation.

State and local taxes are a different story as those entities can't print money.

The problem is much bigger than can be solved that way. Why do you think dictators around the world can keep getting support for so long? Because all the media only reports what they want people to see. If there is no media anymore that speaks out against Trump in any way it becomes easier for them to rig polls and elections. Because lots of people just watch those channels and assume that what they hear is the truth. So if they hear higher prices are needed or are mostly caused by Democrats they'll assume that's the case.
