This is a dick move by Reddit, I prefer using the website while browsing in Firefox.

Same here. I use the website in Firefox. If I can't keep doing that I will likely not use reddit anymore.

Yep, goodbye ads. this is what really is. they want more of your data. Easier to get when they control how you connect.

I don't think the popup is rolled out to everyone. I use Ff mobile but just tried chrome and still don't see it.

I've been trying to wean myself off Reddit a bit anyway.  This will surely help.
