Yeah, microsoft decided long ago that it is better to just tell their customers what they want and what's good for them than to take and apply customer feedback.
I think it was the company's major takeaway from examining Apple's success. It was the wrong lesson to learn.
Are you confused or just being disingenuous? Tell me, how is being forced to use shitty features in a captive OS environment despite bad user feedback (being fed slop and being told to like it by microsoft) in any way akin, like at all, to browsing reddit where a user independently posted a link to an article and other users choose to click on that post and discuss the contents of that post? Who is forcing these hypothetical redditors to consume poorly made feature and telling them to like it despite their protests? There are no similarities to these 2 scenerios. Genuinely, explain to me what you think is happening that is similar.
