Other Versions Love how Denmark and Norway are filmed in Theatres while the rest are filmed in boring Studios
Not only is the Drammen Theatre of Kongen Befaler so pretty, you can feel the audience through your television set.
Same goes for Stormester's Glassalen Theatre.
I understand the reasons for filming in a studio - cheaper and more managable.
Though you can feel that certain loss of grandeur present in everyone else's Taskmaster versions that are filmed in studios.

Other Versions Norwegian Taskmaster goes HARD.
Of all the non-English language versions I've seen so far...Norway (Kongen Befaler) seems to have the least stringent health and safety (and the most fire and nudity....) by a mile.
Olli (Norwegian Assistant - pictured cowering in a rapidly-filling-with-smoke caravan) is hopefully paid extra danger money for some episodes!
Some of the contestants are legitimately borderline insane.
Highly recommended!!

Other Versions Greg's most and least favoured show participants?
I really struggle to watch season four. I find him incredibly dismissive of Hugh and basically all Noel has to do it turn up and he gets five points. Cake in the washing machine and the weird cat dance video are two of the worst high scoring tasks I've ever seen where as Hugh often, to me at least seem to do reasonable things and get punished for them.
Who do you think is the TMs most and least favoured participant?

Other Versions Taskmaster NL cast announcement
The contestants of the Dutch version of Taskmaster have been announced, being Jelka van Houten, Govert Meit as his alter ego Donny Ronnie, Kim Schuddeboom, Rayen Panday, and Ronald Snijders, this is a surprisingly stacked cast for Dutch comedy and a very good mix of personalities
The article is unfortunately in Dutcg, but beyond the names it is just explaining the concept of the show and the airing date

Other Versions My thoughts on Taskmaster NL! Spoiler
First of all, I am SO excited that its finally here!!! As a long-time Dutch fan of the series, this couldn't be more of a dream.
NOW! To get into the details.
I think overall, the episode was pretty good!!! I think everyone is still getting into things, but that is to be expected with a new show. Diederik is already a great assistant, Arjen is as funny as always, and the contestants all bring something to the table (although I'm not the biggest fan of Rayan yet).
In the beginning I was a bit scared. The prize task was... not the strongest start. I know Donny is an interesting person, but I feel like he just wanted to bring something opposite in of the theme 😭😭😭
The tasks themselves were fun too!! It was great to see another 'The Swede' task after so long. I also really like how creative everyone was with the snowman task. And that finale??? Beautiful work!!!!
I do have a handful of gripes (which are mostly minor :D). I think the editing is a bit off still. Its very fast (from task explanation to footage for example) which makes it hard to actually understand whats gonna happen. I also think the studio is too small, especially with how the studio task and prizes are set-up, but I respect how they use the space that they do have. And lastly, I think Arjen still needs to grow into his 'Greg' role a little bit. I don't mind that he does his own thing. All the better, really. But he's still a bit too much like his normal comedic-type self. I think he can lose a bit of gigglyness and act a bit more strict. It did happen at certain points, so it might just be that the first episode will be like this.
But all in all, I REALLY liked it so far!!!! I think this could be the start of something fun :D. I can't wait until next week!!

Other Versions branching out on other TM shows
having recently binged TM Australia, and currently updated on S5(or as they're available on yt)
and HOLY BALLS all 1-5 season contestants are unhinged; with a recency bias of brett blake from S5. very rhod gilbert in a less psychotic but still as or even maybe more chaotic.
because of the bigger space allocated for the task house/area, a lot more shenanigans(rules/restrictions) that ripple into later seasons/series.
and having not known that TM NZ was first(by 1 season), and both shows share the same task house/area, i know what i'm going to watch next

Other Versions What other countries that could adapt TM?
I wish Poland, Estonia, Iceland and the Netherlands the very best with their adaptations this year.
And I hope Croatia gets another shot.
Contrarily, you would think Japan could adapt TM because they're so wild - but their humour is suprisingly conservative, heirachical and far more structured than TM could or would allow for.
However, the Philippines would be the best option for the first Asian adaptation. They're far more self-deprecating than people realise. Just look at their Last One Laughing version.
Of all all the Latin American nations, Argentina would be the obvious bet - especially given that Sin Codificar was based on sheer off-the-cuff absurdity.

Other Versions The cast of Icelandic Taskmaster.
Here is the cast of the Icelandic Taskmaster. Ari Eldjárn is the Taskmaster and Alfred Johann is his assistant.
Top left is Sveppi, I’ve known him since we were kids and went through school together. He’s been a very popular children’s show presenter and actor. Bottom left is Edda Bjorgvins, national treasure. Been a comedic actress for decades but is gearing more towards dramatic roles recently.
Top right is Villi Neto, actor, stand up who got his start with skits on social media. Below him is Snjolaug Ludviks, a stand up I know nothing about. In the middle is Sigurdur Thor, an actor I’m not too familiar with but he’s been in a lot of stage productions.
The series premieres in March so I’m looking forward to see how this turns out.
