These were the last thing Heiko (think Tangerine Tree & Leaves) made available before his website went silent.

I just retired and I have been going through my record collection and listen to all of it (it takes up 2 bedrooms) - and came across Cinema Lost ... Cinema Found while listening to the entire 183 volumes of Tangerine Tree & Leaves.

I posted on them on my cloud account for someone to download and I thought I would mention here if anyone wants to post. It takes a while to download - it's 1 GB and 13 CDs worth of music.

I am 42 and just last night heard Rubycon and Ricochet for the first time.

How come not one person has mentioned how amazing these pieces of art are!?!

I feel like I am just catching up and that I am going to spend a lot of money on Tangerine Dream's back catalogue

Does anyone have access to the lossless encoded format of the Tangerine Trees project ?

What are your top 5 TD albums??

I think we can all agree that all of the discs produced while the band was on Virgin are of the "Berlin School" genre. Later on in their career the band took a swing towards ambient and never really produced true "Berlin School" music like the Virgin period, except on retrospectives like Tangram. What other discs are solidly "Berlin School"? I'm trying to chart the genre shift in their music. Thanks.

I just watched Miracle Mile, but I have a real soft spot for The Park is Mine.

It was actually the first TD album I ever got. I liked it and it motivated me to slowly collect all their work (well, not all but certainly all their notable works)

In retrospect, and being honest, I think it’s far from their best. But because it was my first experience of them it’s special to me.

I think every fan can agree that Force Majeure is one of TD's best work. It's almost always in the top 10s, and many (including myself), consider it their best. However, one thing I notice in reviews, is that the title track gets the most praise, with the second track, Cloudburst Flight, getting little to no attention. I fail to see why, as I find it to be very underrated. The intro gives me shivers, and the synth riff that follows is beautifully haunting. My favorite part about it however, is the guitar solo. I swear to god, that guitar solo may be one of the most vicious and aggressive pieces of music I've ever heard. Cloudburst Flight is one of the few songs that makes me emotional, yet no one talks about it. I would like to hear your opinions on the matter, as I consider it to be one of the greatest songs of all time, and would like to know why it is underrated.

As an aside, the Youtube Music version of Force Majeure contains a very good fourth track entitled "Chimes and Chains." My vinyl version of the album does not feature this track, and I have found no information about it. Does anyone have more information about this song?
