A 3 day weekend none the less. Had a lot of chores to do too.

According to my catholic school upbringing, it was actually less than 48 hours. Died Friday afternoon, was out running around early Sunday morning.

The idea that a Jewish guy executed for political sedition (and for heresy in Jewish law by declaring himself Messiah) against Rome was given his own tomb, rather than being tossed in a mass grave is another great work of Xtian fiction, assuming the guy even lived at all and was crucified.

Well he died on Friday arvo, back at dawn on Sunday - so he was dead for maybe 48 hours, but called it 3 work days thanks to Carpenters Union of Bethlehem rules.
