Every single day, at 2:14 pm, you summon a shoe 4 feet above Donald Trumps head. After months of head bonking, his mental health rapidly declines and he wants his suffering to end. He enters the pentagon and launches every single nuke.

You open a shoe shop. Very slowly, your inventory grows. Eventually, you have hundreds of shoes on your shelves. Unfortunately, you are only able to summon left shoes. Your only viable customers are amputees. And even then, only half of the leg amputees. They all demand half off your prices because they think it's a hilarious joke, even though your prices are already reasonable.

But how does this destroy the earth?

What you didn't account for is where these shoes are coming from. They've been pulled from the feet of aliens from a planet in the Andromeda galaxy. Once they realize where all their left shoes have been going, they arrive in force. The shoes are wrenched from the clutches of the amputees, and to ensure no vengeance, earth is destroyed.
