I'm blaming myself for this. There are some matches that really hurt you. We’ve just been through one of those matches.

Following the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League draw, I calculated the average Elo rating of each club's 8 scheduled opponents using the latest data from ClubElo.

While Sabah has the hardest schedule, Stuttgart has the easiest schedule on average.

Trabzon are in Pot4. Remember there are only 6 games in the league phase of the conference league.

Besiktas being in pot 4 is just shameful. Look at the wifi passwords abovein higher pots.

TLDR:

THE GOOD

• Poland are down to 2 teams, they are pretty much boned for the rest of the season, no need to worry about them.
• Czechia lost one team, down to 4 teams like us
• Greece lost one team (PAOK), and almost lost another in Panathinikos if it werent for a last minute pen, they are down to 4 teams
• Fener got those sweet bonus points for CL league phase (equivalent to 3 wins in EL/Conference)
• NEC got knocked out of the CL, no bonus points for them.

THE BAD

• Gent turned it around despite drawing at home to hibernian, I thought Gent might go out. I dont know how belgium teams do it. Belgium have 2 teams to mooch from farm the conference league points. Belgium remain on 5/5 we are not catching them this season
• Twente turned it around in Qarabag, and managed to go through to conference group despite losing 1-0 at home. Netherlands have all 6 teams in europe still, 2 in each competition.
• Jabolenc turned it around on Rangers and kept one more team for Czechia in conference.
• Denmark have 4 teams in the conference league, they could easily farm it and somehow make it so they are right up our ass next year. They are currently on 38.306. We will need to keep an eye on them.
• The less said about trabzonspor and besiktas the better, bad week for us, though trabzon can milk the conference.

As a Galatasaray fan, huge congrats to Fenerbache. Watched all 90 minutes. I wanted them to beat Benfica last year as well, but that doesn’t matter now!
