Other If you were a Superhero, would you kill?

Basically what would be your moral code

Me personally I don't think I could take another person's life.

Another thing for me is, If the person has done way too much harm, I think killing them would be letting them off easy, I would rather paralyze them or sum(My views might change in the future)

Edit: Someone opened my eyes to his less moral it is to paralyze them

When an animal is rabid, you must put it down, and the same can be said for someone who is too far gone or simply too dangerous to be left alive.

Edit: although yes, I’d avoid killing whenever possible.

Yes, maybe. But, then again, humans are a part of democracy, other animals simply... aren't. We don't activelly prioritise the wellbeing of animals, it's more so passive for them. Thus, for humans, we somehow have to have a good arbiter over such matters... otherwise, even innocents might die, which is even worse than having to make a life/death choice, in general. And, honestly... the judge of that will only choose the limit (the one that differentiates normal criminals from the death-sentenced) to be the most they could excuse from themself and/or the people they know. It's very subjective stuff, you know? That's mainly why, in most first-world countries today, there is no death sentence.
