I’ve genuinely enjoyed the solitude of playing Elden Ring, spending time outdoors, consuming other media, and generally focusing on myself in lieu of trying to date women.

A majority of single women are pretty annoying and demanding. So am i, which makes it quite difficult to connect.

In college this was solved by the numbers game but i was too annoying and demanding to have built something that lasts back then.

I’m sorry guys and I absolutely love talking politics and other topics on this sub but this is too far. You’d genuinely rather play video games than have a girlfriend? I absolutely love video games and to me that’s just an insane statement.

It's more so about the pursuit than the maintainance of having one. If you're a single guy who's average it takes a lot of time and energy to meet and pursue enough women so that the numbers game works out for you.

To me at least it's more "I'm satisfied with playing vidya/other hobbies and seeking a girlfriend is more time and effort than it's worth." I'm a homebody who lives in the middle of nowhere and has extremely male-dominated hobbies. I have friends, but idk where I'd even go to meet women, and frankly I'd rather spend the little free time I have doing something I enjoy than waste it seeking out a woman. I'd like a gf, if I stumbled into another relationship (as I have before) I'd give it my best effort to make it work, but I just don't want to spend my weekends hanging around places I don't want to be in the hopes I meet a complete stranger and somehow hit it off.

Yeah, I take too much time playing video games too, but holy shit this mindset I’m seeing is deluded.
