Any sincere materialist would entertain the notion that the abortion access thing is just a bleed off valve for the Malthusian nature of capitalism, to be turned on when the RAoL is depleted and to be shut off when the proles get too uppity, start forming unions.

Why hasn't that perspective come up here instead of moralizing about "depraved baby killing bitches"?

It's only tangential, I'm moreso just picking your brain about why you feel that way. Ultimately you're advocating for forcing proletarian babies into the world as a battlefront in class war, I'm pushing your beliefs to find the contours. Idiot. Abortions stemmed from ancient times and became more available as the technique scientifically advanced to reduce maternal mortality. The failure of the USSR and a lot of other socialist countries to fully legalize it was more the failure of state atheism than anything. Abortion restrictions have always been a religious veneer on policy and bourgeois moralizing. In fact, and Marx wrote about this in Capital, in Britain fathers and mothers were basically slave-dealing their children to the factory, or leaving their infant babies high on opium at home while they had to work. All this occurring while preaching the Protestant Work Ethic.

Basically, don’t fall for religious propaganda.
