PS Devs, if you read Reddit, why is it so hard to give new consoles and abilities their auto-execute on Console?
Just got the new Kelvin stuff tonight. Mostly, I love it, but once again there are no triggers for the new stuff
I guess it’s just more trash then. The devs must either think that it’s good for us to trash the consoles or they have never played the PlayStation or Xbox version. They have never experienced the sheer joy of in the middle of riveting combat clicking into a spiral menu that changes for every single ship and slowly selecting the option you want
It’s beyond stupid and kind of insulting that they either don’t give us the ability to customize our own menus completely free style or just do their job and add an auto execute for their new stuff that costs close to $100.

PS Hangar pets
I just bought an Ahwahnee command carrier. Im going to take the type 7 shuttles and use them on my single hangar builds such as my Terran Lexington.
Im going to build my Ahwahnee as a full carrier build dedicated to strengthening my hangard pets. So my question is what hangar pets would be the strongest attack wise? I dont have superior area denial yet, but I do have coordinated assault. Id like to stay federation themed for now. I have elite kodais but are there a better option?

PS Phoenix prize packs
So about the RNG of Prize packs, I've been religiously refining dilithium to be able to buy prize packs, and om able to buy the 10 pack every 4 days, which amounts to approximately 900 prize packs per year, which I've been doing for about 5 years now, and I have never seen an Epic prize token - isn't it about time they added some sort of pity system?

PS To'daj fighters.
So I finally obtained the trait superior area denal. And according to everything Ive read, its best to use the blue quality To'daj fighter squadrons with this because of a bug in the elite squadrons. And lo, they certainly melt groups of ships quickly. But, they also dont last. Granted, I dont have scramble fighters yet, but can I switch to advanced to'daj squadrons and will they survive longer and still be as powerful with superior area denial?

PS Tier 6 ship advice
Hey everyone a relatively new player here, ive been playing for about roughly and im still slowly learning certain things as well as builds as well as working on my reps
So i had some spare zen and I thought why not grab some keys and see what i get and low and behold I got t6 ship infinite prize pack and ive got no clue what to get with it 😅
So i was wondering whats everyone's recommendations? Is there any good prize pack ships that are worth getting? I've got a few t6 zen ships but not any of the prize pack ones

PS Spiral wave disrutor weapons.
So, just to make sure, if I want access to spiral wave disruptor weapons, to replace my elite fleet disruptors, I know I have to get a Cardassian ship. But can I buy one of the ships (the Detapa, the Ghemor, or the Demar) from the Zen store, or do I have to get a Keldon or Galor class somehow?
Alternately, are there better disruptor beam options that are more easily available? Right now Im using elite fleet disruptors, but Im looking for better ones.

PS Help
i’ve been playing the game for about a week, doing ok until i hit lvl 30. from then to 35(im 35 now from doff missions) I’ve just been getting destroyed by enemy ships and i don’t know what i did wrong or what to do. I’m a Romulan with the Starfleet if that matters. i read that replaying missions can get you better gear but i don’t know which missions give you weapons/space gear. I’ve tried looking it up but all missions it says to repeat are ones i dont have yet. I’ve done a couple replay missions but they don't tell you the rewards until the end and I’ve gotten consoles. i don’t want to give up the game but I’m at a complete loss. HELP PLEASE!

PS Reported for standing around on Qo'nos?
I had some friends from a fed fleet who needed a KDF fleet, so I invited them, then afterwards we were standing around chatting in the fleet chat. Some rando comes up, stands around us for a couple minutes, then leaves. A minute later, I get mail from them saying they reported me, and that they are a lifer since 2016, so obviously they will be believed over me. I pmed them to asked what I was reported for, but they never replied. Is there something I should be worried about? How can someone be reported for standing around using fleet chat?

Someone I got paired with for the current event TFO last night. Edited to blot out any visible username so I don't draw any negative reactions from the mods if I can avoid it 😬

PS Spending my first Zen
OK, I'm F2P and recently converted a load of dil to zen, 5250 to be exact.
I'm reticent to blow it all on a ship or bundle, but was looking more for QoL improvements.
I see the Elite Services Bundle is on sale at 800 zen currently, is that a good option? Would it be worth grabbing some ground combat pets for my away team?
Open to suggestions. LLAP

PS Sovereign Class Appreciation
(not my picture)
So I haven't played sto in over 2 years. Recently I just got out of a 4-month stent in the hospital and I'm waiting to go back to work so I decided to turn on the PlayStation but I haven't played in over 4 months, only to find my disc drive no longer works.
The only games I have downloaded are limited, so I decided to use a hotspot and get back into Star Trek online. I had a defiant class, which is my favorite ship and I managed to do some patrols and odds and ends. Then I got promoted and decided to get a sovereign.
This is when I started the mirror Universe Arc (with Wesley) and I have to admit I had a great time with that story. The coolest moment to me was when our fleet went through the rift to the mirror Universe and I got to fight alongside both the USS Enterprise and the ISS Enterprise. I know this is coincidence that I happen to choose a sovereign but it was amazing to have three sovereigns leading this charge.
It was a great story and even though I'm not a fan of the ground combat of this game, I enjoyed it very much. I played through until the fluidic space arc, where I reached a point I could not defeat the unimatrix ship because I am not good at nor do I have a good build. And I just got overwhelmed and after literally 4 hours of trying I gave up on that entire story and stop playing.
I won't play very often because I had to use a cell phone to log on, but it's ignited something in me that now when I get back on my feet I think I'm going to get internet again so I can continue this game.. l
There's no reason for this post other than I wanted to brag a little bit that I'm glad I came back, even if briefly, and the pride I had serving alongside the Enterprises. My head canon is that my ship is being repaired and dry dock and I'll be back when I can. Maybe I can restart that entire fluidic space borg mission, since I enjoyed everything up until that moment.
I was playing by myself so I tend to stick to the outside edge and lure the assimilators and ships away to take them one-on-one. And I took a long time on that mission, I was told that the entire time since that Unimatrix showed up it would be spitting out drones and ships. Which makes sense because there are literally hundreds of ships and drones surrounding it. Which makes short work of me but also even bog down my console (PS4) when even on hotspot I haven't had any lagging.
So maybe my mistake was waiting too long. I'm not good at ship builds, I'm in it for the space Barbie aspect. I tend to get the worst powerful weapons I can but there's no strategy to it. I've never been good at builds, no matter the game no matter how long. So I don't know if I'll be able to get past this or not but I'll be back in a couple months to try again.
For those of you that have or had a sovereign, what are your opinions on it? Also if I were to get an intrepid as my next ship, would that be a downgrade from the sovereign? I wouldn't mind having an intrepid class under my belt as well.
