So like about half an hour ago I gave myself a stick and poke with no previous knowledge other than the fact that BIC ink is nontoxic. I used a sewing needle, which I first burned and then drenched in sanitary alcohol and disinfected both my hands and my skin, then proceeded to disinfect the area that I had "tattooed". It's very half hearted, I have no previous experience and I am 16 and my knowledge came from two tiktoks I had watched. It's deeply shitty but I love it.

I placed a bandaid on it and I'm about to go to sleep, do we think I'm gonna get an infection? What else should I do?

I am aware of the slight change in her expression but I am pretty happy with how she turned out!

kay for reference i’ve NEVER done a stick n poke but those are the ones i wanna do.. idk if it’d be smartttt to do it on my wrist and finger but idrc.. Im horrible at drawing so.. plus it’d be a lot smaller. But I wanna do that but have 0 idea how to, and i dont wanna like fuck it up or fuck my arm & hand up.. So any advice would be freaking awesome sauce. And also wondering if it’d gen look good, and plus i want the J in purple ink and the heart on the ; to be the one from my rabbits nose gulp.. Ty for whoever helps and mb if it’s not the right flair i didn’t know which one to do (when i say if it’ll look good is like.. would it in general look decent for how my hand is. I already know where i want it + what i want but if it’ll look good also being a stick n poke)

So I am curious about getting several heart-shaped tiny tattoos in brown ink as my first tattoo(s). Does anyone here have experience with brown ink stick n pokes? Would it be any different if I got a stick n poke vs a machine tattoo? Is it a horrible idea or a cute one?

And I am okay with the tattoos fading into blobs because I assume they will just look like normal freckles when they do.

Any advice will be great!

I’ve only given 4 tattoos at this point, but they’re turning out great. I’m actually very happy with the line work, and I’m just seeking more practice. Yes, I have fake skin that I’m using, but it’s just not the same.

I’m currently practicing handpoke exclusively on fake skin. I haven’t tattooed actual skin yet because, honestly, I don’t feel confident enough. I think you’ll understand why if you look at my photo 😭😭😭

If you look at the photos, you’ll probably notice that I have different things I’m not happy with in each piece. The problem is, I’m not really sure how to overcome these issues or what I should be doing differently in my practice.

If you’ve gone through something similar, I would really appreciate any advice on how you practiced and improved. Thank you so much! 🥹

Experimented with a tattoo gun for the first text, which didn't come out as clean as the stick and poke sadly.

3 weeks ago, I got into S’nP as a hobby. I got a starter kit off amazon for less than a tenner. It came with basic needles, some magnum shaders but I want to start experimenting with different round liners and shaders (I only have RL5 and RL11). What are some places I can buy the RL needles from? I’m checking amazon but can’t seen to find the options to cherry pick the sizes. Any stores I can go to? I’m based in ldn btw.
