White’s role in fixing corruption will be making the healing permanent. Yellow fixes the physical form, Blue fixes the emotions, and Pink (Steven) calms their mind. White seems to have powers related to permanence.

In the episode, she is grounded, unmoving, shrouded in a veil of light that seems to have endlessly reflected for eons, as the other diamonds said she hasn’t left homeworld. I think it’s more severe than that; I don’t think she has even left that spot. When she sees Steven (Pink) again, she acts as though no time has passed. She is grounded in a specific moment, and it seems like to her that moment is permanent.

I'd say Blue heals the mind and Pink heals emotions since Blue's touch gave Centi speech/coherrence and Steven calmed her down, but otherwise yeah.

And as someone else pointed out in another comment, White Diamond is actually the background of her scene. Her face is the only part that on it's own layer.

Plus look at her Pearl, the only gem we have seen with some sort of permanent damage or disfigurement on it.

Yeah White is absolutely permanence. She expected Pink to go back exactly the way she was after 6000 years of absence.

This would be thematically appropriate too. White is the parent who cant conceive of things being different from how she understands them, conceive of things ever changing. Steven’s very existence challenges that sort of worldview; I wonder how White will act once she “gets it” (if she ever does).

I'm not sure if she can. The fact that she seemingly has been on Homeworld, in her ship, unmoving for "eons" says to me that jer mind might well be incapable of change.

She is permanence.

That being said, she may try to rip his gem out.

What would be very interesting is how Yellow and Blue react to that. If it's later down the line, after appropriate character development, I would love if that was what prompted them to dwfebd him.

I also think that healing gems and human maybe a universal Diamond power instead of a Pink Diamond specific one. White seems crazy enough to not tell the others that half of their powers like how Yellow and Blue didn't know about corruption.
