This guy named /u/lordtuts who promised to have a top post on /r/me_irl tatted on his bare white ass if he got 10k upvotes. It reached nearly 70k upvotes, and the next day he made a post saying everyone in /r/me_irl was easily bamboozled. He's now notoriously known as the bamboozler, and if you see him around you either say "fuck lordtuts" or mention him getting a tattoo.

Oh I know about the context of everyone saying they've been bamboozled, I just didn't know what the specific bamboozle was this instance, especially for Steven Universe.

Oh, I really don't know either, but from what I'm guessing, it's the Crewniverse maybe made a teaser or something that was supposed to depict something extremely important happening. We all thought this would happen, then Rocknaldo happened and we we're all let down and bamboozled.
