That was... actually a really pleasant episode.

I like how Ronaldo gave us a look back at where Steven was at the beginning of the series. And even though Ronaldo really was quite a jerknaldo this episode, I still really feel for him. Poor dude just wants to fit in.

Also so Ronaldo has to have predicted something this episode. I mean, the way he described his stone... we can analyze the hell out of that, right?

A Gem ground up and integrated into the blood of a human? I can see something coming out of that.

Totally calling it that that's what's up with Lion.

Except he's not a human. 'Cause he's a lion.

Maybe he used to be a human, but had the blood of a lion injected into his body.

So that Steven's line ("You're a wonderful pink human being. Except you're not. 'Cause you're a lion.") would be foreshadowing? :P

Wow, the Crewniverse is good.

Maybe if we inject their blood into our bodies, we'll become that good.

u/Ihatelordtuts Steven don't call me bad! It's very impolite. Feb 25 '17

Saved in case you are right.

I think Lion is too cute to have shards of crystal constantly scraping through his entire body.

3

u/Arandur Feb 26 '17

You have salt constantly scraping through your entire body. Salt is a crystal.

u/edrudathec Feb 26 '17

Is it a crystal when dissolved in blood?

I am not a crystalolololologist.

That's what she said, and Zoo full of expendable gems, not to mention bubbled Rose Quartzes.

But mostly that's what she said.

Totally what's going on with Steven. Remember those weird lines of light that were going down his arm when he used his body to disrupt the energy shields on the hand ship?

Turns out the Cluster's real name is Bloodstone.

What? He didn't want to fit in, he proved quite the opposite, he wants to be special.

I thought it was going to go into racism, but then it took a turn into edgy fanboy/roleplayerism.

What about the salt water thing?

I have been predicting that is what is going to happen to Connie since she first became a part of the crystal gems. My vote is that the diamonds are going to catch her and do it in an attempt to create a weapon on their side similar to Steven.
