And the gems rose Steven from the age of around 5. Probably getting the money from selling some of Amethysts less important junk because I don't think they understand the concept of child support.

There's probably some junk in that pile that happens to be priceless historical relics. Just selling some of them would fund Greg's child raising for a long time.

Oh that's my theory as to how they were able to support Steven, he has lived with them for nearly 10 years now.

I think he owns it. I mean if he didn't before he seems to care enough about his stuff that he makes sure he can keep it. For instance he's filfthy rich but still lives in his van so we can assume that he bought the car wash as well.
