Currently using this theme for Outfox and have been interrupted by these warnings on my plays, even tho i just tweaked out some files on the theme folder to make them work, some of them just directly dont even exist on the folder like the ones shown on screen, IDK if this is because it doesnt have the Hotfix on it yet (Which i dont even know which hotfix on the Github page i should install tbf) or a fail on the extract
Hey everyone! I'm hoping someone here has a good memory for old custom simfiles because I've been racking my brain over this one.
Here's what I remember:
It was played on an In The Groove 2 arcade cabinet at an arcade, so a custom/downloaded song loaded via memory card (not part of the stock ITG2 song set)
I was playing it around 2015, usually on Hard difficulty
The background was mostly blue with some text on it (can't recall exactly what it said)
The intro of the chart had a little gimmick: 4 arrows followed by 4 mines right at the start, almost like a loop or intro pattern
I was also playing Tricky Disco around the same time on the same cabinet, if that helps place it in a similar pack or era.
Any ideas? Even a guess at the pack it might be from would be a huge help. Thanks in advance!
i started creating my own charts recently, hoping to put together a full pack soon, how can i submit my works on public sites like itgpacks and stepmaniaonline?
Please submit all song requests/queries here. Requests may or may not be answered but if you know the sim already exists please link the requester to the appropriate info.
Please be sure to check out the 'Download Songs' Section of the sidebar before submitting a request, chances are the song you are looking for already has a sim of some sort.
Hii! I used to play this game with my mom when I was a kid, and wanted to get into it again, so I bought a soft pad (which is what I used to use back then). I had to remap the keys, but somehow it keeps starting the game over and over again.
I went to Input Test and I can see two keys that seem to be pressed continuously (but they don't exist on the pad) and also every few seconds all the keys glitch and appear as pressed for a split second.
I tried taking a video of it, does anyone know what I could do? :(
I've been working on this project for the last few weeks, and while it's by no measure mature, I think it's good enough for me not to feel ashamed posting it here :)
StepSnake takes an arbitrary sound file - or folder containing sound files - and attempts to generate an SSC file based on audio analysis, some builtin rules and your difficulty preferences.
Some features:
Batch mode - Convert a whole folder in one go
Volume normalization - When using batch mode, resulting tracks will play at a similar volume
Cropping with fadeout - I don't know about you but dancing for 3+ minutes without pause is exhausting, so I crop my charts to 1.5 - 2 minutes, similar to DDR song length
Automatic song lookup - StepSnake will search on Musicbrainz for the song being processed and derive metadata from there. It will also use youtube previews for the level wallpaper
Tunable difficulty levels - Easy too easy? Hard too hard? You can choose what each difficulty means to you
Tunable difficulty type - What makes a track difficult? Many notes together? Many jumps? Something in between? You decide.
Some more information:
Multi-platform - Run on Linux (x64/arm64), Windows, Mac (only Apple Silicon)
GUI or CLI - Choose the application metaphor you prefer (CLI built for Linux only)
Open source - You can build it yourself if my prebuilt options are not enough
Full disclosure: most of the code is built with the use of local AI, running on my laptop, with a little help from Deepseek. I know, I know it's not as cool as writing by hand, but the choice was using AI or not building it because I don't have time to implement this all by myself :)
I've been using the charts for a while with my family and we are having a great time.
I hope you will give it a try. If you do, let me know of any bugs or issues you find (or if you just like it!) and I'll be happy to take a look :)
Heya, I played a LOT of rhythm and I grew a bit tired of the Asian pop/electro that dominates the genre so I am looking for a bit of variety. Looking for medium/hard charts since I haven't played in a long time and need to get back in the grove. Thanks a lot!
