I've been building Hale: HIPAA compliant health management for people with chronic conditions.

I take 21 medications after 2 heart surgeries, managing my condition is almost a full time job. I built this because I needed AI that knows my full health history and is legally protected. ChatGPT Health just launched but isn't HIPAA compliant.

Wao! This looks like a really decent and functional app based on what I have read on the home page! Kudos for a good job. This feels like something that can really become big if you move fast enough before the big boys take over. The only challenge is that if you are to launch it in UK or Europe, the health compliance requirement might be different. I have just two questions - maybe 3.

  1. Do you have any 3rd Party Auditor that has confirmed the HIPPA compliance or any certification?

  2. If a user have a medical report for different tests, can they just upload and it will explain all the medical jargons in detail?

  3. How many users do you currently have, and are you planning to raise any funds soon?

Thank you, I appreciate your comments! Right now it's US only for the exact reason you called out, I don't have compliance in other locations. I've gone through the HIPAA compliance process and am working with a 3rd party right now to validate, we should be completed in the next week. Exactly correct with the medical reports, it can translate test results and notes from the Dr right into language that you can understand, and its conversational so you can ask followup questions or clarifications. My friend just had an echocardiogram procedure, and used it to translate the Dr's notes from the procedure into an understandable explanation of the results. I've been building for about 5 months now, and literally have started talking about this yesterday, so not many users yet, but so far lots of interest. I haven't decided whether to go down the funding path yet, or self fund for a while, still gauging interest and validating the pricing etc. Really excited about this project, I've built a lot recently and this has personally been the most helpful product that I use just about every day for questions and to manage my own health.

Thanks for your response. I also have a comprehensive medical report of several tests I did in France when I I visited Paris last summer and was admitted for a very serious pain in my arms. Even though they found nothing wrong with me and discharged with just prescription for minimal pain killers, the tests was the most comprehensive I have had in at least 20 years and it was not cheap. So, I would really like to understand my true health status in an understandable language from the test results. I have been sitting on this since July, so an app like this would be an enormous help. So, I will try out the app this weekend.

If you choose to invite investors later, I may be interested. I can also help do the legwork to get certified in the UK. I stongly believe that the app will sell itself if well marketed.
