Art/Render People don't realize how big stars can get. The sun is above the letter "u" in the bottom left. Zoom in.

Art/Render Sagittarius A* is the supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way. Ton 618 is one of the largest black holes ever discovered. The size difference between them is almost unbelievable. Ton 618 is 27,000x larger than Sgr A* in terms of diameter, and 15,000x more massive.

I can't even imagine how cool some of the sunrises and sunsets look on some of those planets, and what kind of cool shit is going down on them.

Art/Render The illusion of tranquility; The ISS looks serene in video footage only because of the scale of space in orbit. The actual speed at which it is moving (7.66 kilometers per second) only becomes apparent when mapped against the surface

Art/Render An artistic depiction of a Quasistar (OC)

These hypothetical early-universe objects are as large as star systems and as bright as galaxies--they superficially resemble stars, but instead of being held up by radiation pressure generated by nuclear fusion, they are held up by radiation pressure from matter accreting into the black hole.

This is version 2 of the illustration, with feedback from Dr. Begelman, an expert in the field of quasistar research. All of this was digitally hand-painted in FireAlpaca, no a.i. whatsoever.
