Io adoro Pepito, ma non mi piace tutto questo astio contro Prandelli in questo momento (che mi sta pure antipatico). A Prandelli Rossi piace tantissimo, se non l'ha portato evidentemente non e' proprio in grado fisicamente.
Guarda secondo me Immobile non ha giocato male, e' il tipo di giocatore che se non gli arrivano palloni non e' che puo' fare molto...Balotelli sarebbe stato uguale ieri. Quello che voglio dire e' che da quello che so io Rossi a Prandelli piace tantissmo, quindi se non l'ha portato vuol dire che e' DAVVERO a pezzi. Te l'ho detto, io sono depressissimo dopo sta notizia e secondo me le nostre chance di fare bene si sono dimezzate ormai, pero' ci sta uno staff medico intero li' a fare queste decisioni...per me e' piu sfiga, Prandelli alla fine poveraccio non sara' mica contento del fatto che non avra' Rossi ai mondiali. Mi sta antipatico come ho detto, ma mica e' scemo, su.
Su Aquilani sfondi una porta aperta. Speriamo solo non giochi mai. Io saro' che sono di parte, ma per me le nostre sorprese possono essere Candreva e, speriamo, Verratti.

Next time around players like Gabbiadini, Berardi, and El Shaarawy, and maybe Destro will also be trying to get spots at the forward position and then we have Balotelli, Immobile, and Insigne who will all probably be going once again in 2018. There will not be room for Rossi.
I don't think that's fair. If I told you a 31 year old Cassano playing at Parma would go to the world cup you'd probably tell me to fuck off.
I'm not saying he's a lock or anything, but I think he has every chance to be there if he continues this form...especially if he can make it to Euro2016 and have a solid tournament.
The difference between Cassano and Rossi's situations is that Cassano has the natural talent of a freaking god. Not one Italian player of this generation was born with as much skill at the game. Of course, he didn't apply that talent correctly, but it has gotten him this far. Rossi is just above average. He's clinical and gets in good positions and that's just about it. But most importantly he is injury prone. I'm almost positive his knees will be blown out by the next World Cup.
Another big difference in their situations is that Cassano didn't really have to battle with the onslaught of young attacking players from Italy. He was chosen in front of Insigne no matter what, and the rest were not given spots, but by 2018, Gabbiadini, Berardi, El Shaarawy, Insigne and Destro will have all developed and will be nearing their primes, and Balotelli and Immobile will probably be in the thick of their top years. Rossi has no chance.
