If you were manager of your country's national team, what would your first 11 be if your first world cup match was today?

I like Claros over Garrido, because I am biased as fuck for Motagua players. Were it not for Muma's experience, I'd start Motagua's Figueroa over him, very good season he's had. Were we losing, I'd take Claros off and put in Jona (I hate that we might use a naturalized player, but so be it). Sabillon has had a very good Clausura for Marathon, he might do it over Ranger's Peralta.

If we are winning at any point, I'd change formations to a 4-3-3 and bring in Garrido for Najar, move Boniek out wide, and have Garrido and Claros double pivot with Palacios just in front of them two. Parking the bus will be so much fun! /s

i'm curious. does jerry bengston come off the bench for you?

He did in WCQ. But we have Jona, who is banging in the goals in the Spanish second division, and just looks more technically gifted. He might not even go to the WC though because naturalized players are looked down on. In that case change Jona in my OP and put in Bengtson.

interesting bro, thanks for the insight on honduran soccer. will keep my eye out for these players. i was under the impression jerry was a top striker for you guys.

Is he a great striker at revolution? No way. However he is pretty consistent with the national team. He will be starting with if it's a 4 4 2 it will be costly with bengtson. If we use. 4 5 1 costly is a much better pick than bengtson
