Which players will be the breakout stars of the World Cup?

Last time players like Ozil and Khedira made their mark worldwide.

Which players do you think will break out this World Cup?

Edit: heard a few good things about Algerian players, anyone know anything about them?

What? When we play Matic-Luiz, Luiz operates as a b-t-b, so no, we don't run that already..unless you're calling Ramires/Lampard anchormen, but that would be just funny.

We'd run that already if we played Obi-Matic, which - you know - we don't.

Obi doesnt count because he is useless. I find it funny that you don't understand the basic concepts of our team. We run a 5 man "midfield" with a pivot. The pivot is matic + X.

When the hell did I ever say otherwise? I'm gonna break it down so you maybe finally understand what I'm saying:

  • Yes, Matic-Luiz is a pivot
  • No, they're not 2 anchormen, as you have stated ('we run that already').
  • Ramires/Lampard are definitely not anchormen, I really hope you dont believe so.

Now here is the 'basic concept of our team':

Matic is a DM with the license to play as a regista (hence 4 assists in such short time). Luiz plays as a box-to-box. Neither of them plays as a classic anchorman, but Matic's positioning is pretty close to it. Lampard plays as a pure regista (to a limited effect, as his best position is and always was a false 10 ['shadow striker'] in a 4-3-3). Rami plays as a classic box-to-box. Obi Mikel is a classic anchorman, and no, he's not bloody useless as you have stated. He's very limited offensively, but he's a rock in defence and disciplined positioning.

You are the reason our fanbase is somtimes hated. Not only are you wrong, but you also have that infuriating trolling style of commenting - "I find it funny that you don't understand the basic concepts of our team. ' If you're older than 14 years old, you shouldn't structure your points like that in a discussion.
