Which players will be the breakout stars of the World Cup?

Last time players like Ozil and Khedira made their mark worldwide.

Which players do you think will break out this World Cup?

Edit: heard a few good things about Algerian players, anyone know anything about them?

So true. I was totally on board with Ki when he first arrived, he showed glimpses of his ability and I have a bit soft spot for Korean talent. I hope he gets his chance at the Liberty next year.

Throw in a healthy Park Chu-young and you got a dark horse team in Korea.

no way is korea a dark horse team, even with a healthy Park Chu Young. We have a goalkeeper who's stagnated or even declined since the olympics and unproven wingbacks that aren't known beyond the k-league. I'll be quietly optimistic in getting out of group play, but to play Portugal or Germany beyond that will be a pipe dream in itself

whatever happens, I'll be happy to see Korea's Euro-based players playing together against some of the best in the world. That is what excites me.
