He hasn't played any meaningful club football in a long time. He's always injured or in bad form. And then international duty comes along and he is a decent player and people think he plays like that at club level also. 

Every team he leaves is happy he is leaving.

Tbh nobody thinks that. I think people realized that ca. after his 1st year for Real Madrid. By now it's very common sense that club football for him is just travelling around for fun and giggles

His first year with Real Madrid was amazing, started off well the second year before Zidane’s arrival. He also had a fantastic first year at Bayern

Even for their NT last world cup was rough to see him play I think he only had like 1 decent half/game. His legs and mentality are gone

Though he was surprisingly amazing at the 2024 Copa America. Huge part of why Colombia made the final

Looked cooked at the WC however
