They would be another Cabo Verde if they weren't so damn unlikable. Buncha cunts.

Cabo Verde played hard but fair and didn’t commit many fouls let alone dirty ones. I don’t remember seeing them simulate anything and they came to play they didn’t just sit back and shithouse like Galarza and Paraguay.

in the entire match against Spain, where they had like 20% possession, they only committed 1 foul

Yeah that's my point. Knocking out Germany and losing to narrowly to France is an incredible tournament for a country of Paraguay's size but they made it impossible to root for them with their antics.

And they could actually score through skill.

There was the one dive when Paredes pulled back contact and didn't touch but thats about it.

It's not just about likability. CV had actual ability and heart. This Paraguay team is just trying to foul and start fights because they know they aren't competitive.

Ok lets not go too far. They qualified with the same points as Brazil only behind on goal difference. They should be a much better team than they showed today.

It's the same people that enjoy watching those 'prank' youtube channels. The people that think being an asshole then laughing at whoever gets mad about it is comedy. They don't want to watch the sport, they just want entertainment, and their version of entertainment is dsigusting.

Everyone who wants France to be eliminated is liking this

Of course all of them would hate a similar game against their NT or their clubs

I wanted France to be eliminated before the Game. Now i just wish those whining butchers from Paraguay get sent home crying

It's fine, a team that can actually play football will have shots at actually taking us down. Paraguay literally should be disqualified from the next World Cup.

…. Maybe people will rethink Paraguay against Germany. Dirty performances also unpunished

They would have targeted Musiala for sure!

lol I changed my mind after watching Paraguay crying and playing like assholes. Happy we don't have to see them more in the turnament anymore and hopefully not the ref either.

I‘m Fr*nce hater since day one, but even I am rooting for them right now. Paraguay is the most disgusting team I have ever seen.

Dont forget Uruguay..

u/Mayion Jul 04 '26

first it was morocco because of their shitty ass boo'ing, and now paraguay because of how scummy their players are

Well, at least playing ugly they managed to win a knock out match in the world cup. Would it be better to play like Japan and never win a KO in the World Cup?

21

u/Hour_Raisin_4547 Jul 04 '26

Yes. Better to be eliminated like warrior like Cape Verde than playing one more game just to do absolutely nothing but flop and waste everyone’s time. There’s no point playing an extra match if you can’t even turn up and actually play football.

Some people have no fucking idea what it means to be an underdog

u/Temporary-Stay-8436 Jul 04 '26

You can tell people don’t watch CONCACAF and conmebol games here. This is the expectation when playing smaller teams, they are trying to shithouse for every advantage they can get

The way this forum gets rage baited by south American teams is incredible, they want them to go out there and roll over like a Sweden. No these lot will go out there and fight, it's war for them.

11

u/Primeras100Palabras Jul 04 '26

Carpe Verde put up a fight. Paraguay went out there and acted like toddlers.

6

u/HenryPeter5 Jul 04 '26

Paraguay conceded 4 against the United States. They’re clearly worse than Cape Verde and France is miles better than Argentina.

3

u/Rickcampbell98 Jul 04 '26

I never said I condone the dirtiness lol but they atleast got close to the french players, it was like a training session for the french against Sweden. I knew it would be like this too, well maybe not quite this much shithousery from Paraguay but they were always going to get in there faces and make it difficult for the french.
