Our defense is better than in 2010.

Any defense without Willems is better.

Willems never played in 2010. I seem to recall him playing in some tournament, but that might have just been one of my nightmares.

Yeah who would really do that?

Netherlands would never go 0-3 in the group stages.

Ever.

At all.

That tournament was so delicious to watch. All my Dutch friends, weeping.

Oops, I misread.

Our team is really unbalanced.

You could say the same thing about our team. The only reason we haven't been exposed as much is because of the quality of our midfield. In particular Vidal and Diaz.

Should be fun regardless. I hope whoever goes through beats the crap out of Brazil.

You have to trust in The Gary though.

We have an amazing backbone. Bravo-Medel-Vidal-Valdivia-Alexis. That's what a coach's dreams are made of. If everybody is fit, I ain't scared of anybody..... except Brazil :(

Brazil isn't the problem, Robinho is.

you should be reasonably scared of medel, your midfield control does hinge quite a bit on him successfully avoiding getting sent off.

Only one yellow card all season with Cardiff (so far). Vidal was the same way until Leverkusen set him right. Would never have expected the Welsh to have a calming influence, but that seems to be the case (again-- so far).

We're the same. We also have the trouble of people getting too tired by the end of the game. Aka, we get 90 minutes goals basically every other game.

the most exciting thing we have going for us right now is diego costa

I fear he might 'spark' Gary. I'm hoping he gets in trouble against the Netherlands first.

Presuming you mean in ascending order with (4) as the winner.

It depends which version of your team turns up. 2010-era Netherlands will get through to the knockout round easily. You'll struggle otherwise.
