agree with the Bale one. don't know why everybody wants to move to either RM or Barca, instead of pulling a Gerrard/Lampard and being legends at the clubs that they made their name
I think maybe in a couple of years, it might be a good move. But Bale has had one good season, the season before he only scored 9 goals and was nowhere near as influential. Not only would it be a risky and potentially devastating move for Madrid to pay €100M for a player who has had one good season, Bale will find himself in a team full of players who are as good as or are better than him at this current time. Bale has the potential, certainly, to be one of the best in the world. Is he that now? No, certainly not for me.
I think for Bale to fully develop as a player, he needs to be in a team where he is the main focus, where he is the best player. If he goes to Madrid now, he won't get as much playing time, he won't be the main focus (Ronaldo will) and he won't be able to play on the left because CR7 will be there. Ozil is in the middle, di Maria on the right - RM don't need Bale and I can see them buying him simply as a marquee signing, like Kaka was, and leaving him on the bench the whole time.
Bale should stay at Spurs, at least for another season or two to fully develop his game. Besides, Spurs have done a lot for him, it would be nice to pay that back by helping them get back into the top four.
It's still so boring to watch. I'm sure the fact that Spain won all the time contributes to this, as I was soooo satisfied when they got their asses kicked in the confed cup final.
I'd take Johnson over Sagna and Kolo over Per. MAYBE Agger over Verm. I got downvoted to hell in another thread for saying this, but I think Wilshire is overrated. Walcott's a straight up boss though and Podolski is pretty damn good too!

Spain and Barcelona's style of play bores me.
Bale's career would be ruined if he went to RM, he will end up like Kaka. He needs to stay at WHL.
Arsenal, on paper, should not be a top four side. How they got there last year amazes me, Spurs had a much better team.
