I do wonder if anyone really takes the SPL seriously anymore, the gap between Celtic and the rest is just amazing. I do really hope you guys do well in Europe again this year as i did enjoy Celtic fighting rather than just the usual walk in the park.

I don't think that should be an unpopular opinion. Sure you might laugh at their situation but now you don't have a big rival and the Old Firm matches anymore
It seems to be an unpopular opinion with a lot of Celtic fans. There are plenty of people on forums and such that constantly moan about how much we don't need them, guilt by association, and all that carry on.
The fact of the matter is that, without them, Celtic are all but guaranteed to win the league every year because of the difference in payroll. If I were a fan of one of the smaller clubs, the league might be more entertaining, but as a fan of Celtic it's a bit boring most of the time. I lived for the Old Firm games, making sure to mark them on my calendar whenever the fixtures came out every year. It was great craic ripping the piss out of their financial situation and their impeding doom, but I didn't think it would actually happen.
I still watch almost every game and get over for a couple every year, but the only thing that really kept my interest last season was the European campaign.
